Song Review: If This Is All There Is

Reviewer: Rob Lawson - Radio Airplay -

Overall Impression: Kelli Brogan displays her powerhouse of a voice in If This Is All There Is, supported by gorgeous instrumentals, mirroring her energy and direction magnificently throughout the tune. With an overall tone that emulates a culminating moment of realization of dissipating love and growing apart, Kelli Brogan delivers the story effectively, full of soul and passion, only adding to the authenticity and realism of the lyrics. This power ballad echoes the style and performance of artists like Celine Dion and Christina Aguilera, but Kelli Brogan brings her own unique quality and personality that is sure to set her apart.

Strongest Point(s): The vocal range, in terms of dynamics, strength, tessitura, displayed by Kelli Brogan is phenomenal; she sings so softly and vulnerably, and also with the power of modern prima donnas. The songwriting is also terrific, following a form that is familiar, and riding right along with the feel provided. The instrumentals again outline and support the vocal line, providing extra power where necessary and delicately cradles the vulnerable voice parts. The mix is really well balanced as to not overpower the voice, nor separate the instrumentals from the vocals, but working together to create a well oiled musical machine of a power ballad.

Target Audience Appeal: This song has a wide range of audience appeal, including fans of pop, today's hits, power ballads, and show singers. This tune would make a great stage performance, and would accompany many sorts of screen media well, including films, indie productions, dance productions, tv, and even ads and social media promotions.

Similar artists: Kelli Brogan has a unique voice that, although may be comparable to other artists, is entirely her own. It is important to have influences, but it is also important to remember your voice is most important in shaping your musical future and success. Ultimate pop hooks, with a lot of heart.

“The Woman I Was” is a brand new album by singer and songwriter Kelli Brogan. She has a strong and emotional voice, which suits her catchy pop hooks and unique dynamics. Kelli has a unique way to combine personal lyrics with relatable content. In a way, her songs are very intimate, speaking about the artist’s own experiences through life. On the other hand, she also knowns how to spin the context of her lyrics, in such a way that every listener can seamlessly identify with the message behind the music. This is one of the components that make music great and unforgettable. When listeners can feel a connection, they don’t forget about a track easily!
